[SOLVED] Wifi losing connection

Hi!

So I own a laptop with a Intel 3945G wireless card.

I successfully configured my settings with wpa_supplicant and wicd but I keep losing connection after a while.

This is what dmesg tells me:

iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: No space for Tx
iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Error sending REPLY_RXON: enqueue_hcmd failed: -28
iwl3945 0000:0b:00.0: Error setting new configuration (-28).

And that repeats for many lines.

A quick googling shows me that this is indeed a bug. But some people with this same card and kernel version don't experience this..

I was wondering is there any fix for this or if anyone else has the same problem?
Is it my only choice to wait for a new kernel/firmware update?

I'm using kernel 2.6.32.2-2 and iwlwifi-3945-ucode 15.32.2.9-2

Thanks in advance!

If you haven't solved your problem, attempt to see if a different backend will work with wicd. Other things you could do is to check to see if there is any updates on that bug report and follow any steps in it to see if you can make it work.

Best of Luck

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi losing connection

Not in my case, as I got this issue recently with an update, I guess... WICD used to work flawlessly before, but now it loses connection after a while. I don't experience this on Vista, so it's not a problem related to my router or ISP.
