100% CPU in nestopia

I'm getting 100% CPU usage from an open, idle window of nestopia (from the community repo). When I load a rom, the CPU goes back to normal; is anybody else experiencing this?

This is the only output,

(nestopia-bin:23476): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkSpinButton: setting an adjustment with non-zero page size is deprecated
Couldn't find ~/.nestopia/disksys.rom
Disk System games will not work
Database: 2894 items imported from internal DB

which seems pretty harmless.

i686 architecture.
