I've been running Arch for well over a year and a half and I have to say, I've never felt so comfortable in a GNU/Linux distribution.  The expectation placed on the user is that they be in control of their own destiny . Literally everything is possible. This expectation actually makes life easier for the user in the end, as they actually learn how to configure their system in a precise and simple manner.

I've never posted a screenshot here before, but on the inauguration of Arch on my netbook, I thought I'd join in on the fun.

Hi mate,

I'm using a preview of the Envy Code R font (available here). Note that it isn't exactly finished, and the author has made it clear (via a personal email) that it's not available for distribution under any public license - only because he doesn't want people to think it's the finished product.

Tried to modify a gtk theme to match the wonderful e17 theme.
I will not try to do such a thing again, too complicated for me...but if anyone got a link to a nice howto describing e.g. the options for buttons *with images* id be very grateful...
