the lime green connector on my onboard soundcard (ALC 888) is somehow broken, i get sound only through one speaker. so in windows xp i just put the plug of my 2.1 analog stereo speakers in the light blue jack (normally a line-in connector), setup the driver and have working sound.
in arch i dont get any signal out of that light blue jack, the regular lime green line-out outputs only on one speaker.
how or where can i specify that the line-in jack should be used as line-out ?
