Hey guys,
lately, I discovered I am having some issues with HDD spindown on my laptop. Everything worked fine so far after I followed the guide from http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lap … wn_problem, my script in /etc/pm/sleep.d is also executed correctly, executing hdparm -B 254 for my hard disk. Strangely, the value is set to 1 when I am on battery anyway, which happens when I remove the AC adapter to run on battery and also when I suspend/resume on battery. Didn't notice it first, since I run the machine on power most of the time.
Laptop mode is not the problem, tried it with it activated and deactivated, with controlling the harddisk settings active and not.
Any ideas on this?

Thanks man ...seems I have used the wrong search terms...
touch /etc/pm/power.d/harddrive did the job!
