I currently have Ubuntu and Win7 on my Machine. Is it possible to install Arch on a new partition within Ubuntu?
I thought it would, if it would be possible to place a virtual machine on an own partition and then install Arch using the VM and booting the new partition afterwards.
Now, is this possible? And if not, is there another way install Arch from within Ubuntu?
I don't know if it is the right place for this topic, maybe it has to be moved to another place...

What do you mean 'within' Ubuntu?
If you want Arch, you need at least one partition for the OS. If you can't spare a partition, you can still use Arch on a VM.
