Cannot get bluetooth to work

Hi all,
today i discovered remuco (http://code.google.com/p/remuco/) and i wanted to try it. I never used bluetooth before on linux, so i configured it and started following this http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bluetooth

When i run hcitool scan all i get is this

smau [~] $ sudo hcitool scan
Scanning ...
smau [~] $

hcitool dev shows my device correctly

smau [~] $ hcitool dev
Devices:
    hci0 00:26:5E:C4:B6:71

so, how do i get my laptop (Hp Pavilion 1010el dm1) see my phone (Nokia e65)?

Thanks you all!
