I just found out that you can rip audio-CDs in KDE, that is in dolphin and konqueror, by using audiocd:/ and then drag-dropping.
It uses cdparanoia and lame, oggenc and flac. What would you want more?

I would've expected such a feature in Mac OS, but certainly not any Linux DE.

Well, that's implemented since KDE 3.

And its not that new. I already posted a thread about that^^ and its said in Wikipedia (in the german one).

Btw. its in thanks to KIO, not Dolphin/Konqueror/whatever
