Hi all.
I use arch on my pc more than one year and had no serious problems. But i buy laptop ASUS K70ID and i have a annoying problem. After install core distro i try get packages with pacman, and my laptop randomly freeze, the system is completely locked up. This happens randomly, i can download package group (for example KDE, ~800 MB) without freeze, or get a freeze when downloading small package (reflector or powerpill ~1MB) or use netinstall of arch.
I have update system after 5 tries, so i use last version of core packages.
memtest86+ completed without errors.
S.M.A.R.T. is clean.
Local files copy without freeze.
I changed two laptop of this model in store. (just in case).
Testing on other OS (Windows), any freezes.
Logs after last freeze:
dmesg.log
errors.log
kernell.log
messages.log
everything.log
Perhaps some one has already had a similar problem? In any case, I will welcome any comments.
UPDATE:
I had problems with nouveaufb. After re-view logs i install nvidia graphic drivers.
Uptime near 8 hours, seems to be ok now.
