Hi All,
I have previously used ubuntu, but decided for my eeepc to install arch due to space issues. I have got pretty much everything working using toofishes kernel. I am not planning on using x (don't really need it for emails and ssh etc), but was wondering if there is anyway to check the remaining battery power from the terminal?
Cheers,
Kenny

On my eeepc 1005PE you can cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state.
+ you can also use powertop to show the remaining time.

acpi -b
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
