Doesn't the absence of a systray affect your netbook usage ??

Today i tricked a bit my fluxbox config (IMO way better than openbox) to that :

hedYQs.jpg

It's basically conky with lua for text placement.

I run my apps full screen on the tags (web, net, img, snd) so I don't need one, also battery life has been taken into consideration which is why I have minimal daemons/notifications running, which is also why I don't use Conky or anything else akin to it.  Wireless is taken care of by WICD in curses so not sure what I'd have on a systray.

Meyithi, are you using conky-cli for volume and battery status in the dwm status bar?

Don't need conky as all is in this script...

Darn you. Now I have to decide for August between trying out kde4.5 or tricking out GNOME like that... or even wasting time doing both.

The dock is AWN with the default Dark Theme, and the icons on the dock are http://deviantdark.deviantart.com/art/H … s-85648146

If you meant the system font, it's tahoma smile

what overall gtk theme and icon theme are you using? (and wallpaper) smile
