can't add soundfont sf2

hi,

another rosegarden fuck around...

i installed:
qjackctl, qsynth/fluidsynth, rosegarden

and they basically work together well. but when i add a new device (to add a new sf2 file) it loads the soundfont but then doesn't play any sound allthough the sf2 is added in qsynth as well (and i think if it's added in qsynth i don't need to load it to the sound card, right?).

and when i restart rosegarden, the soundfont will be removed again.

does anybody know why that happens?

i hope this is a stupid question and therefore easy to solve......

You have to assign a sound to your channel, doesn't sound like youv'e done that.
