Arch featured in the german "Linux Magazin"

Arch Linux has a two-page article in the "Linux Magazin" (which is the german version of the "Linux Magazine", surprise) in a series about free software that's not mainstream. Nothing new, but it might give Arch Linux a boost in popularity in Germany.

Maybe there will be some people like me, who are experienced with Linux but had never heard of the glorious idea of a "rolling release" distribution. smile

Well, concerning the target audience of this magazine, I highly doubt that.

Yes, it is. Didn't know the article was free.

Those who prefer fresh program versions and a do-it-yourself type, Arch Linux is love.

I think I have a new signature.

No flooding so far. But we could cope with that.

It would highly surprise me if there was a flood of new users just because of one article in the magazine. It's rather expensive (about 6€ in Germany, without DVD) and the topics are advanced. For Newbies, there's also Linux User and Ubuntu User as well as EasyLinux, all by the same publisher.
