pacman fails to upgrade lib32-glibc

hi, haven't updated for a while and just tried it now but it fails with the following error:

Proceed with installation? [Y/n]
checking package integrity...
(44/44) checking for file conflicts [##############################] 100%
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
lib32-glibc: /opt/lib32/usr/include exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

any ideas?

thanks!
