[Never Mind]Missing Text Formating Conrtols in Forum Message screens?

I just noticed that the text formating tag controls for forum messages are missing.  By this I mean the <i>Code</i>, <i>Quote</i>, <i>Bold</i> and  <i>Italic</i> buttons that used to be above the <i>Subject</i> box.

I run Firefox, but repeated the problem with Chromium.  Arch Linux X_64

Yes, we know.

To the left of the text input area you have help links - you them instead.

Um,  No. 
Nothing to the left or right of this box.  Above there is the Index, .... , log out row, below that the message that I'm logged in and since when.  Above this box there is the Caption "Post a Reply"  and "Message * "
Below there are indicators that BBCode, img tag and  Smiles are on.  Below that, options, and below that, the submit and preview buttons.

Below there are indicators that BBCode, img tag and  Smiles are on.

Click on BBCode, it's a link.
Those indicators are on the left if you just browse the forums.

Okay, I see what you are saying.  I guess I was looking for the auto-magic insertion of balanced tags.  I really have no objection to hand coding the tags, but is the plan to bring back the controls?

There's a thread dedicated to the new forums' look but it's long and I don't really know how would i search for that ... bar ... icons bar? Formatting help?
I've read that conversation before so I knew what to look for.
