Hello Guys,
Bad things happen, so I need to install Windows to my PC again. Luckly I do have a First partition I can spare for this OS, but AFAIK windows will erase my MBR, so I need a Linux boot floppy so I can boot Arch again...
is there a way to create Boot floppy under Arch linux ?
Also my kernell image is larger that one can fit on 1 floppy..
Thanks,
Sader

Why can't you use the installation CD?
I have nothing to say, and I am saying it.

just reinstall lilo from CD ?
I'm not quite realize how to do that...Sorry. Aren't I need to do previous steps of new installation ?
or simply run "Install bootloaded" tab ?
thanks

Sometimes it's really that simple! (make sure you mount your / to /mnt before you start the setup).
A bus station is where a bus stops.
A train station is where a train stops.
On my desk I have a workstation.

The Arch installer is nonlinear, though some things from previous steps are assumed. You should be able to just run that step though.
When in doubt, read the source! /arch/setup is one big bad bash script... and the install cd has VI. So if you're so curious as to go see what a particular step does, and know bash, open up that puppy and take a look!
The suggestion box only accepts patches.
