MythTV Upgrade

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had any plans to upgrade the extra repository to use 0.23? Its been out a while and seems pretty stable from AUR.
Thanks,
Dave.

Re: MythTV Upgrade

Posting on the arch-general mailing list is more likely to get this noticed by someone who will deal with it.

Re: MythTV Upgrade

Tried on the general mailing list and got even less of a response. Guess I'll just keep using AUR for now. Bit of a shame, don't like to see Arch outdone by Mythbuntu and Mythdora. yikes

Re: MythTV Upgrade

Indeed, it would be nice if the packages got updated in a timely fashion. Is there something I can do to help? It's been a long, long time since I created the very first batch of Myth packages for Arch. It's been what - four years?

Cool, I'll keep my eyes open for them (I don't see anything in testing at time of posting) and give them a shot right away.

Re: MythTV Upgrade

I'm using mythmusic, mythvideo, mythgallery, and mythnews without much issue.

mythbrowser (which I wasn't using before but chose to try) doesn't seem to be working. I get some nastiness when I try to load up news items:

Re: MythTV Upgrade

Looks like a bug in mythui

MythTV has been bumped to 23.1 now, so perhaps that will fix it. The repository mythtv says it is orphaned.  Does anyone know what the process is... does it wait for a new maintainer?
