Chromium, only problem is that the extensions are like greasemonkey scripts, not powerful enough.

I'm currently using Opera, it's sweet! I'm still looking for a great keyboard driven browser though..

Switched from Midori to Chromium, and I can't believe that it's about 2 times faster in rendering pages. Just amazing. Only if it worked better with xcompmgr, so I don't have to use a system titlebar...

I jump between uzbl, jumanji and vimprobable a bit right now. Starting to really like jumanji these days though.

Chromium is the fastest and as far as I know scores highest on the Acid3 test.  FireFox is a power house and great for everything I do online, but is lacking in the speed department compared to Chromium.  Opera is amazing but I have a few philosophical issues with it.  I use the w3m text browser a lot, but most of the time I'm using Chromium.

For me the best web browser is Opera, Chromium, Midori and when I use KDE it's rekonq
Opera has some problem's with Flash videos and I use Chromium right now!

I still use firefox for web development (firebug ftw) but in the past week I've switched to chromium because firefox was really slow to respond when I had 40+ tabs open at once, when I opened a new tab it would freeze for a sec before actually responding.
I'm going to try firefox 4 when it comes out, the thing is miss most from firefox is the 'tree style tabs' extension.
Also...elinks is my backup browser

firefox, is the most complete and elastic browser and become slow only if you have many (20+) tabs opened. it has the best extension/plugin infrastructure. exaclty now i'm using firefox-pgo from AUR

but if you need a rapid browser to open for example only a page at time, set as default browser i choosen epiphany

I went from Firefox to Chromium, then compiled Firefox with PGO and removed features I'd never use and, now, it runs very nicely and no longer me gives long lock-ups it had been giving me while it rendered pages.

Seamonkey is nice if you WANT the full package
FF is nice if all you want  just the browse

The answer was to 'what is the best browser', not to which is the one I use the most.

why are you using Lynx?

Despite my very recent induction in the linux family I've been using windows ports of linux tools for many, many years. Lynx is the oldest. I've used Lynx for console scripting, I've incorporated it in a company internal messaging system, I've successfully suggested it as a default browser for a nearby blind association (which was paying a small fortune for JAWS) and, I use it extensively for many years for web browsing, especially documentation.

Lynx is fast, Lynx is powerful, Lynx is easy to understand and to change code. And Lynx renders pages as they should have always been. If I had my way you lot would all still be reading text only websites with linked images.

Lynx is the best browser, because it doesn't try to.

jumanji is quite nice but it doesn't have web insp for web dev . Still using uzbl now, jumanji did crash 5mins ago .

Just got used to it. I'm a man of habits.
Necessarily my most used browser is a graphics rendering capable one, of course. Firefox, to be more precise. But lynx is like a second nature to me.

Pretty much always use firefox both linux and when in windows. If I need to do anything in a console I'll use elinks.

Love the speed and various extensions. The only bad thing is it doesn't like cups administration, but there is a work around for that.

My own list:

1: Firefox (fast & stable)
2: Links (even faster when i just want to browse some stuff and im in command line)
3: Chromium (mostly for when i need to checkout webkit rendering, starts fast also albeit tabs "stop responding" every now and then)
