Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Yes it has its own styles and i'm using Cobalt now to (because i was too lazy to update your css to the new version), but it was better looking with the old fourm verison and your style. (For example the font is pretty small and ugly with Cobalt). (Or at least it looks so).

I'd appreciate an update, tjwoosta wink

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

zenburn should be required colorscheme in all webpages sad

my universal zenburn overrides all colorschemes so it still works big_smile  some elements are a bit odd, but they were odd before the change, and mainly due to font size issues, but it works for me.

i do like the mercury colorscheme though.

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Sorry for the double post, I just made a few more layout changes to style 1,  its now at version 1.8.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention if you are using one of the alternative forum themes, you should switch back to the standard "ArchLinux" theme for these styles to work properly.

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Cool, thanks tjwoosta.

Hm, the font color in the input box (at least in the quick answer box, dunno about real answer page) is the same as everywhere but the background in it is still white. Makes that a bit hard to read.

You must mean style 1 right?
Hmm, its dark grey here on both styles. I wonder if it might actually be my gtk theme thats coloring it though.  I just made some quick changes I think might fix it, but im not sure since it was already working here. Try updateing and see if its fixed. If not could you post a screenshot of the stuff thats still white?

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Ok I see now, it is actually your gtk theme thats coloring the backgrounds of the buttons, scrollbars, and text areas white. I switched over temporarily to a light colored gtk theme so I could try to fix it.

I just fixed the text areas to make the background dark grey (now at version 2.2), but for some reason I can't seem to stop the gtk theme from overriding the background colors of the buttons and scrollbars.

I can however change the text colors of the buttons, just not the background color, but I don't really want to add it to the style because it would change for all the people with dark gtk themes as well.

So if you use a light gtk theme and want black text on the buttons add this bit of code at the end of the style just before the last "}"

input,
button,
select {
color: #000000 !important;
}

(ill edit the first post and the userstyles page with this information)

Glad to hear you like it, The button text color bit from above applies to this theme as well, if you want black text on the buttons.

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Hallo everyone!

I'm not sure if I should write in this old thread or start a new one, but I figured that since this is the style's “home-thread”, I should probably post in this.

Anyway, I installed Style 1 in Midori, because it is very similar to the forum's Cobalt style, which I love, but it doesn't seem to work with all archlinux.org pages. Namely, it still shows Wiki, Bugs and AUR light. Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks!

Re: Dark Arch Userstyle

Wow I never knew this post existed haha. I have been using this userstyle for like forever. Thanks. I darkened mine because the original was much too bright for me. But yeah this is awesome. Thank you.
