Hi all,
When I try to burn a 8.2GB file on a blank DVD DL, K3b ask me to insert an empty or appendable Blu-ray medium. Even if I previously selected DVD data project.
Thanks for your help!

Are you using cdrkit or cdrtools from AUR as a backend?

I am using cdrkit, should I use cdrtools?

Well, cdrtools did solve my problem with multisession disks, and according to Wiki it's a first thing to try if you have problems with cd/dvd burning.
Note: If you face any issues with cdrkit, it is recommended to install cdrtools from the AUR (cdrkit is a fork of cdrtools). cdrtools is being actively developed and supports CD, DVD and BluRay burning along with complete CDRWIN cue/bin support. cdrtools does not depend on cdrdao.
Though there is no guarantee it'll actually solve your problem, I think you should try it.

I installed cdrtools and K3b is still showing the same message
Please insert an empty or appendable Blu-ray medium

Okay, I think I found the problem or at least a part of it... I tried to burn it with Gnomebaker and it tells me that my file takes 8.23GB of 7.92GB.
But a DVD+DL is 8.5 GB...
EDIT: I just realized that K3b is showing me the same info... That's why it ask me to put a Blu-ray disk...
