Well, i've searched and searched and couldnt' find anything.
when i right click on the desktop, and choose 'new terminal', gnome opens the typical xterm. I have installed eterm (or so i thought - i will come back to this problem), and i would instead like the 'new terminal' to open Eterm. I figured it would just be a file to change somewhere, but i coudl not figure out which one.
Also, i've had eterm working in the past (years ago...), and there was always an executable in /usr/bin named, not surprisingly, eterm. when i installed eterm using pacman, i have no such executable. i thought maybe it's possible that they changed how everything works to change your terminal (ie, just point to a file and the layout and everythign is changed).
anyway, all i wanted to do was to change the default terminal and make a shortcut to it on one of my panels.
any help is appreciated. thanks!
