[solved] Unable to uninstall packages [could not find or read package]

Hello,

I have installed a couple of AUR packages locally. The install went fine. However, I cannot uninstall the packages.

I have tried updating the database (pacman -Syu) and I have tried uninstalling using both -R and -Rs.

Any help with this one will be gratefully received.

Kind Regards,
Harold Clements

Does "pacman -Qm" list the installed packages correctly?  Can you post the the full error you receive whilst attempting to uninstall?

Re: [solved] Unable to uninstall packages [could not find or read package]

Thank you for your quick reply

I have found my error, I was trying to uninstall using the full package name (pacman -Rs ...tar.xz). When I did a query on all install packages I spotted it, just used the shot name and she uninstalled.

Thank you very much for your help...

You might want to edit the subject in your original post to tag this thread as [solved]
