Re: Wine and Crossover office on 64bit

i hate to bump myself.. but has anyone got crossover office to work on 64 bit? because after installing wine 32bit.. on 64, i cant install any windows programs that i enjoy using and use often.. then i tried wine 64 bit, same problems.. most exes wont work.. when i click on Lost n found>> windows xxx application..
just a bouncing cursor, nothing.. ive tried their website, changed this and that in winecfg.. blah blah.. nothing..
Im not wild about installing virtualbox just to run a windows program, i can dual boot for that.. nor do i feel like that either..
anyone have any suggestions, work arounds to get crossover office working?
i have crossover 32bit tar.gz (sure this can be "forced' on 64 bit) and i have a deb64bit for ubuntu (sure this can somehow be converted into a file that arch can install, though i'm not 100% sure) any help would be most appreciated..
thanks

Re: Wine and Crossover office on 64bit

I downloaded the install-crossover-9.1.0.sh file and installed the lib32 group (pacman -S lib32). This allowed me to install the crossover software via the shell script. . This defeats the desire to have a 64-bit only installation, but it allowed me to run them without having to have a 32-bit chroot environment. I have not loaded Office 2007 yet, but IE6/7 works with no real problems.
