Hi,
I'm used to have an USB installation which doesn't use xorg.conf to allow me to start from many PC.
Usually I using it for my backups, but some times just to show to friends.
With the upgrade of kernel 2.6.34 and above, the kernel try to setup its own framebuffer. I can see the change for the maxim resolution after udev has complete the detections.
Once I want to start X, then I get a scrambled screen and also trying to go back to a console cannot give me a clear display, but everything is there and I can shut down with a blind typing commands.
I don't know how to avoid x to mess up the display that way, I've tried on Acer One and a desktop PC and Acer 6935, with same results.
I've look for command to pass to the kernel, but not found any command.
