Hi Archers,
Since hum, two weeks, I have a problem with package upgrade.
I tried different mirrors (kernel.org, archlinux.no, archlinux.fi, leaseweb...) and it does not change anything
Look by yourself:

Known bug in libfetch. Try an http mirror in the meantime.

It seems to work now with the first HTTP mirror I tried
Thanks Allan

I have the same problem today. When I do a pacman -Syy I get this: "error: failed retrieving file 'core.db.tar.gz' from mirror.datacenter.by : Not Found", even though I can ping it with no problems. I have http mirrors on mirrorlist only, no ftps. Any ideas?
Update: Hmm, I've commented out all the servers I had in the list (about 5) and put http://mirrors.kernel.org/archlinux/$repo/os/i686, did a -Syy and boom, it works.
So, this beats a "keep more mirrors uncommented for the backups if the first one is unreachable" advice for me. Why does it happen?
