I've become quite disenchanted with the performance of my card on Linux. Ever since ATI decided to discontinue fglrx support for the R300 chipset, I've been stuck with a nearly useless Radeon 9600. Armagetron often stutters at 50 FPS, Warcraft III is unplayable at 10 FPS, and Blender's interface is all screwy. Is there anything I can do to squeeze out some more performance from my card? I'm currently running the experimental Gallium driver, as it has provided the best results so far.
