[KDE] kicker usability

Do you also have this problem?

I like to have the handles of applets hidden. Yet, every time I want to configure an applet, e.g. hide one item in systray, I need to go through 10 millions menus and unhide the handles. Is there any other way to configure systray? Handles should be responsible for moving applets, and not for the configuration.

What do you mean? Once I choose hidden all applets and newly created applets will have hidden handles.

edit: I see your point. You can set the handles to fade. Then they will only appear when you hover the applet.

But it does not solve the problem. Fading handles take up more space, and there is always the problem of moving an applet accidentally (while clicking it). I think I'd better post it as a bug to KDE team.

Yes, I don't think Arch can do much about it.
