KDE: fonts configuration

Hi,

After some experiments with fonts I decided to revert to (more or less) default configuration with anti-aliasing.
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kde#Fonts looks very sketchy. I tried removing /etc/fonts/ directory; plasma fonts changed immediately, but app fonts remained the same (without anti-aliasing). After some fiddling with System Settings->Fonts I got the desired looks, but there's no feel of a proper procedure. /etc/fonts never regenerated; not that I missed it much. Any suggestions about managing the fonts rationally are welcome smile .

Re: KDE: fonts configuration

sudo pacman -S fontconfig

This will reinstall /etc/fonts/* .
