boot.kernel.org (BKO) and archlinux isos

Has anybody come up with a way to use archlinux's  livecds generated by archiso with BKO/gpex/pxelinux?

I want to be able to generate isos or custom livecds and server them over http.

I have setup a local bko server and so far:
1) load iso over http
2) boot iso
3) get syslinux menu from iso
4) pick image (for example netinstall or core)
5) kernel loads, initrd, mounts and fails to mount root because coded to use something labeled with ARCH_XXXXX

I see there is something called arch-pxe-server, that I guess would replace the bko setup, correct? I do have a problem where system(s) hosting images are not running archlinux. Also, company infrastructure blocks most ports.

Thanks!
