When will xorg-server 1.9 hit the extra repo?

Just curious, when will it happen? This means ATI users will have to un-install proprietary catalyst drivers and install xf86-video-intel or just continue using the old x-server un-officially. hmm

It needs testing for bugs first. For catalyst, use the unofficial catalyst repo by Violo https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57084&p=77
