Vim 7.3

Hi,
does anybody know when Vim 7.3 will arrive in the repos? I'd rather not compile my own as I would have to figure out all the options that need to be compiled in.

You can start with these files and options. I have no idea what changes 7.3 brings, so it may not work out, but it's worth a try.

Re: Vim 7.3

thank you for the link, but it is such a complex pkgbuild that I'd rather wait. especially considering that if it was easy to adapt the pkgbuild, the maintainer would probably have done it already.

I am interested in the new version mainly because of its better latex support ('conceal patch'), but I guess I will wait.

Re: Vim 7.3

The standard answer to the question " when will $PKG arrive in the repos?" is when it is ready.

Waiting is the best strategy.

Closing.
