Oke,
I have to wait a long time.
Lots to do before 2.7 will work.

Can I help in any way? I'm yet unfamiliar with archlinux packaging, but I'm used to packaging for debian and SuSE. It's just that I started using arch linux only a few weeks ago, but I think I'm going to stay with it for some time

Packaging is a job of TUs (trusted users) and devs.

Sure
Which doesn't mean that I couldn't help by preparing a few packages and have the TU look over them - it's quite a lot of packages. Or testing.
But it's just an offer. Just contact me if you have something for me. And it's perfectly fine with me if you don't.

Allan is quoted saying "Volunteer on the (topic being discussed) mailing lists. You never get the people who matters attention on the forums."
