Is the AUR working?

When I go to i see pages of packages but when I go to  (or try to use pacman) there are only 12 packages listed. It looks like the remaining packages are in, do these need to be reviewed before they are added to /community? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong?

Re: Is the AUR working?

Users may add pkgbuilds and other files needed to make packages, but only TUs may upload binaries: the packages.

Users can install all files via ABS by compiling it themselves.

As AUR is barely up it isn't that strange that there are only 12 packages uploaded.

Re: Is the AUR working?

As i3839 said, the TUs haven't transfered their packages yet to the AUR.  Only  kritoke and pjmattal have done so.  Patience is the key...

As for incoming, it has been dead for several months and looks very messy.  Probably most packages there are old versions of package in the official repo.  I don't think that TUs have time (or care) to check it for potential packages.  If you want a package from incoming,  it would be better to check if its in the current/extra repo or in a TUR.  If not, you can make a request in the  AUR Package Requests forum if you can't build it yourself.
