When community package "Electricsheep" becomes active it takes control of my desktop, and the desktop no longer responds to mouse or keyboard commands to end screensaver mode.
The screensaver itself seems to work fine and does not freeze, I simply can not stop it and it doesn't respond.
The only command that seems to work is CTRL-ALT-DEL which restarts the xorg server.
This does not happen with any of the other screensavers.
I have switched my screensaver to pixelcity and it is working properly.
This first started happening right after I upgraded to [multilib] so I'm not sure if they are connected, but it seems that it could be related somehow to multilib.
Anyone else have this problem?
I should also mention that I've been using Electricsheep without any issue for about a year, it was probably time for a new screensaver anyway ![]()

if you use catalyst or other video drivers that is not in the repos, you need to recompile the kernel module.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I do.
I already tried rebuilding electric sheep in chroot. System up-to-date.
