Multilib Announcement Question
Does multilib support enable the side-by-side running of 32-bit and 64-bit binaries as in Ubuntu or Fedora?

I don`t get it. What is the deal here? Before that "Multi lib", we had 32 bit skype on 64 bit Arch too. Now I will not have to download skype form AUR, I will have it in the repo. Is that the difference? Where can I read more about that "multi lib"?

The packages, the building process of the packages and the installation paths are the right ones, not just repackaged 32bit packages from i686 repos.

I still have one doubt: what will be able to do if I add the multilib repo to my pacman.conf file? In other words, what programs will I be able to run that I can't now? I see what multilib provides in the theory but I don't see it in the practice...
