Webcam is upside down.

lol. sample screen shot pl. may be try to start the application with LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so <application> option or there should be setting to use with modprobe.

Maybe it's a hardware issue. Was it running OK before?

No, this is a new notebook. Webcam runs OK in Windows. I think it is flipped in software there. How can this be done in Linux?

I usually open vlc, go to video effects -> geometry and i rotate the video 180º.

Seems like that worked better than the video effects. Also seems that it was simpler. Could this be a factory malfunction or?
