gdesklets with xfce4

Hello all,

Gdesklets is working fine but I have an annoying problem. Starter bar for example, does not remind its position on the screen. I want it on the bottom of my desktop but each time I log in , starter bar appears in the middle on my screen. Same for clock, calendar, etc..
Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

I have the same issue.  In search of an answer as well.  I'll let you know if I find anything.  I'm using fluxbox.

Re: gdesklets with xfce4

In KDE, in the control center, there is a "session manager" tab where you can choose to save/restore sessions.  Maybe there is the same thing in XFCE4 or fluxbox.  If so, you can just save your desktop with the gdesklets where you want them.

Hi,

Well, I just found adesklets http://adesklets.sourceforge.net/
It's pretty nice and I use it right now. Don't need more gdesklets smile
