[Solved]Wow freeze on tab

Howdie,

On my wifes machine she has a problem with WoW.
If she switches over to a different virtual desktop over alt-tabs to another window and tries to go back to WoW its frozen up and she can not get to it.
We use KDE, it's a 64bit install.

Where can I start investigating? Winehq seems to have no threads on this atm.

*Soft bump*
Anyone? I found out that at least one ubuntu-user has the same problem, though so far noone was able to help him either...

Re: [Solved]Wow freeze on tab

I've been having a problem where if I do that, WoW becomes extremely slow until I switch away and back again.
The NVIDIA driver update 256.52 claims to fix something that sort of sounds like that, and I'm hoping it will fix the problem (just updated, haven't tried yet).

EDIT: So far no trouble now that I have the new driver.  However, I remember playing with the video settings once and changing something -- I believe, enabling Maximized under Windowed Mode -- that caused it to lock up whenever I switched away and back.  So if that's enabled, try disabling it.

Re: [Solved]Wow freeze on tab

It would appear that just setting wow to windowed mode, fullscreen and activating (roughly, working on a different PC at the time) "Disable resizing" works like a charm smile

Thanks!
