SELinux install issues

so i've been following this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SELinux

and right away i ran into issues. i've got the SELinux aware kernel but then when i moved to SELinux-coreutils i run into this problem with SELinux-pam. i uninstalled pam with pacman and then try to install the SELinux-pam but i get dependency errors because libpam is missing from the uninstall. so i reinstalled pam and the SELinux-pam still fails because it conflicts with pam. and yaourt didn't seem to help either.

perhaps i've been babied too much by Debian, but i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here.

Re: SELinux install issues

Well you should be able to just do pacman -U selinux-pam-[version and stuff].tar.xz as root, that is not via sudo. You should also install packages acording to their dependencies, that is selinux-pam first, selinux-coreutils after that.
