Hi - Just a quick query really: - a couple of days ago:
# pacman -Syu
pulled in kernel26-188.8.131.52-1 , no problems, updated nicely, everything's fine - however today -Syu brings me:
:: kernel26: local version (184.108.40.206-1) is newer than repo version (220.127.116.11-1)
:: Above packages will be skipped. To manually upgrade use 'pacman -S <pkg>'
Any particular reason why this shows up?
Probably because you use another (less up to date) mirror. Either you changed it manually or the previous used one was down temporary, or something like that.
Thanks i3839 - it's sorted now.
