I'm trying to set the Run Action of each of my file types, but I can't get any single one to work correctly. I followed the example in the ROX help doc by attempting to set the run action of a .jpeg with gqview "$@" but ROX spits out "no such file or directory." I also tried xterm -e gqview "$@" and gimp "$@", but no dice. I then tried the drag and drop run action method and repeated everything with evince and a PDF. I get the same error.
Anyone with ROX on Arch64 should be able to pull up the relevant help article by visiting: file:///usr/share/ROX-Filer/Help/Manual.html#id2507120
Any idea what's up? Anyone else experiencing this?

Just a guess but have you tried gqview $@ w/o the quote?
Haven't been here in a while. Still rocking Arch.

Thanks for the suggestion! Still receiving the same error message.

Well, I wasn't at my Arch system and just guessed, this is what works for me:
gqview -f -s "$@"
The -f and -s switches aren't related to this so I don't have a clue what could be different in your case. (Maybe it's related to Arch64 - again, just a thought...)
Haven't been here in a while. Still rocking Arch.

Must be an Arch64 issue. Anyone else out there?

I'm using 32 bit and am experiencing the exact same issue, 3.5 years after the original post.
The given syntax does not work.

If you know that the post is 3.5 years old, why necrobump it: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/For … Bumping.27
