Hello all,
I've been using Linux for a while now, with more GUI-focussed distros such as Mint and Fedora, been wanting to get to a simpler, more customisable version of Linux, hence, Arch Linux.
However, I've run into trouble installing it on my MSI Wind U100 system (with a RT2700E chipset), as the wireless fails to authenticate under netcfg and does not associate properly with wpa_supplicant.
I have the latest version, updated using pacman -Syu on an ethernet connection. I also rebuilt the rt2860sta driver with the instructions on Arch Wiki's Wind U100 page.
However, I still cannot get this working.
Does anybody have any idea what's going on?
EDIT: Eventually made it work with wicd
