I did a full system update today to get lirc up and running. Thereby kernel26 was upgraded from 2.6.34.1 to 2.6.35.
The problem now is that all sound seems to get redirected to the internal pc speaker instead of the normal analog output (which results in a terrible noise ).
I tried booting my secondary kernel (2.6.32.21-lts), with which everything works fine, so I assume it is a kernel issue.
Any ideas how to fix this?

pcspkr is already blacklisted via /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.

Maybe you should add snd-pcsp to the list of blacklisted modules.
For me, adding !pcspkr !snd-pcsp to the MODULES line is enough.

snd-pcsp doesn't get loaded, but blacklisted it anyway, just in case.
That thing gets on my nerves, maybe I' ll just pull the plug on the motherboard ^^
