I have a razor lycosa which if left plugged in will cause arch to freeze and stop working. If I have it unplugged before boot everything will run no problem. I'm using it with my laptop so I am able to rule out the "freeze" just being a loss of input from the keyboard.
I apologize for being so vague, but I really don't know where to begin in troubleshooting this.

Describe what you mean by "cause arch to freeze". At what point does"arch" freeze? Does the system boot or does it freeze before booting?
Prediction...This year will be a very odd year!

It boots all the way and I am able to get into gnome. Then it freezes and I have to hard restart. It will freeze even when I don't use a desktop environment. It usually freezes after about 30 seconds after loading, but it varies.

Can you post the output of your Xorg log and dmesg after it happens?

I assume your using this keybd in a laptop only not in two different machines?
EDIT: Is this something that has just recently started to happen with your system(s) or is it only with one machine?

Yes, I am using it with the laptop. It has been a problem since I installed arch (functioned fine with ubuntu). I am able to use the laptop's keyboard fine. As long as I do not plug in the USB keyboard everything functions correctly.
On the logs, do you want them from immediately after the freeze (which wouldn't be possible) or after i reboot?

What daemons do you have in rc.conf with the normal laptop keybd installed?
As I understand your post, you can install the keybd after booting and it functions correctly?

The only daemons I have running are (syslog-ng dbus hal gdm network crond). The computer freezes as soon as I press a button on the USB keyboard now. It seems like the combined input of both keyboard, laptop and usb, is cause the freezing.
EDIT: Could disabling the laptop keyboard help? Though it seems very risky.

Perhaps entering.... usbinput..... to your daemons will give a clue.
I seem to recall this is used for special devices; mebbe yours!
EDIT: The keybd mapping for the two keybds must be identical so you may have to disable the onbd keybd.. I assume there is a way to re-enable same. The special use usb keybd is bound to be mapped differently.
