Since yesterday, running
sudo pacman -Syy
results like this
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core 35.6K 28.5K/s 00:00:01 [##############] 100%
extra 448.0K 30.0K/s 00:00:00 [#############-] 96%
Now, after that 96 percent it starts getting community
community 368.0K 30.3K/s 00:00:00 [#############-] 96%
and again, after 96 percent:
error: community.db.tar.gz appears to be truncated: 392502/393865 bytes%
error: failed to update community (failed to retrieve some files)
I also tried
$ sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/*.part
and restarting, but it behaves the same.
Yeap, the network is fine.

Hmm..
I'm using
pacman 3.4.1-1
not 3.4.0
Seems like bug still remains...
But strange that i had never come into this earlier using previous versions of pacman.

there is a problem with some kernel.org servers. Thomas pinged the admin couples of minutes ago
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
