Saving upgrade log to a file

Hi!
How do I save system upgrade log output to a text file to analyse it after? All the text that appears when I do "pacman -Syu".
I know I can read it in Terminal, but text file is more convinient.

Will "pacman -Syu > /text/file" do?

Pacman already does this for you -> /var/log/pacman.log
