How to turn off Nautilus autoplay/automount under KDE?

does anyone have an idea why when I insert a cd/dvd/flash nautilus opens as a default file manager under KDE instead of dolphin krusader? in my system settings krusader is set as the default manager, but still nautilus somehow keeps showing up, and I'm wondering how to change that?

I keep nautilus because it's a dropbox dependancy... ok, I know there are workarounds so one could use dropbox without nautilus but I didn't bother trying that out... I don't mind keeping nautilus but I just want it to be quiet big_smile

thank you

Re: How to turn off Nautilus autoplay/automount under KDE?

hmm, ok I managed to turn of autoplay but one thing that still bothers me is that it looks like nautilus (gvfs) is in control of automounting instead of hal...

what I get when I try to unmount it from dolphin/krusader/systray is this:

org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.NotMountedByHal: Device to unmount is not in /media/.hal-mtab so it is not mounted by HAL

and also there is this:

$ lsof | grep /media/.hal-mtab
lsof: WARNING: can't stat() fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon file system /home/username/.gvfs
      Output information may be incomplete.

any hints please?
