I finally received my new Lenovo IdeaPad U450p M23L4GE.
When I tried to install Archlinux the partitioning didn't work.
The output of Auto-Prepare is "Device '/boot :32:ext2:+ swap:256:swap /:*:ext3' is not valid"
When I try to partition my disk manually I can't find the proper diskname.
/dev/sda-d nor /dev/hda-d work.
The directory /dev contains the following files/directories:
console
full
ide/
ieee1394/
input/
kmem
kmsg
loop/
mapper/
md/
md0 -> md/0
mem
misc/
null
port
ptmx
pts/
pty/
random
rd/
root.old -> rd/0
scsi/
shm/
tty
urandom
usb/
vc/
vcc/
video1394/
zero
Any suggestions?

I solved the problem with a newer install disc
It's sda now.
I finished the installation succesfully and also installed grub.
But after the bios was started I can only see a white cursor and arch doesn't boot.
After some research it seems that my notebook doesn't boot properly without the recovery partition which I already deleted.
What can I do? I didn't create any recovery cds and the partition is gone.
