How do I update outdated package, if it's not orphaned? [Solved]

So there are some packages that I use on daily basis that are really outdated.
To be specific there are two packages:
vhba-module-ck http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=34770
nvidia-ck: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=33305

So I used ABS to build current versions of both and I would like to share them with others.
i mean yeah everyone else could do the same with ABS, but if there are packages in AUR, why should you?

So given that both still have "packagers" who I don't know why don't update them, how do I upload my packages.
Do I just duplicate them?

Yeah this is probably a stupid question, but I am a AUR uploader newbie.

I think you should first contact the current maintainers. If they lost interest / have no time, maybe you can take over.

You could send them an email and see if they want to orphan them and then you can adopt them if they don't want them anymore

You can post a comment to the ABS that includes a diff file between your PKGBUILD and the one in ABS.  Or, as has been pointed out to me... If it is trivial, just a comment as to what you did (add a new architecture, for example)

In regards to nvidia-ck, there are other packages that can provide nvidia for -ck kernel.
