xorg and glx/dri on i810 (centrino)

After upgrading to xorg, I can not get dri to work any more. The X-server hangs and shows a scrambled mouse cursor on  checkered background. After that keyboard is dead, but I should be able to still log in via ssh.  Disabling DRi gives a working X-server

Is this chipset supported in xorg and how would I go about configuring it?

I have DRI enabled in the kernel + the modules for my chipset.

In xfree it all worked perfectly, and I would go back if I could, but it is not installable any more from pacman.

Re: xorg and glx/dri on i810 (centrino)

In Section "InputDevice" change the keyboard driver to

Driver "kbd"

I think the problem is the keyboard driver.

I am using centrino + xorg + 3D without problems.
